Islamabad: The journalists have been stopped from making coverage of Islamabad talks by the police .

Police stopped the journalists on Constitution Avenue and subjected them to maltreatment .

It was said to them despite they were travelling on board Information ministry vehicles they will be allowed to move to Jinnah Convention centre when they arrange telephonic call from high above.

These journalists were stopped on Constitutional Avenue. The vehicles of accredited journalist remained standing on Constitution Avenue for an hour.

Police maltreatment with foreign journalists too came into open. The journalists were on their way to Jinnah Convention Centre in vehicle of Information Ministry.

Police said no national or foreign journalist is allowed to go to Jinnah Convention Centre. Arrange call from high above to us then the journalists will be allowed to go to Jinnah Convention.

Police remained adamant for showing the PID cards by journalists.
