Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a high-level meeting with the Iranian delegation as part of the ongoing Islamabad talks aimed at diplomatic engagement between Iran and the United States.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Iranian delegation was led by Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, assisted by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The Prime Minister appreciated Iran’s participation in the talks and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to playing its mediating role to support regional and global peace and stability.

He stressed that Pakistan remains committed to facilitating meaningful outcomes through dialogue and diplomacy.
