Islamabad: Report of Adiala jail superintendent with reference to provision of better facilities in jail to Bushra Bibi wife of PTI founder has been filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas took up for hearing the petition filed by Bushra Bibi for better jail facilities Tuesday.

Counsels Usman Gill and Zahir Abbas advocate appeared on behalf of Bushra Bibi in the court.

Advocate General Office filed jail superintendent report in the court.

The court directed to provide copy of Jail facilities report to the counsel for the petitioner.

According to the report filed in court, Bushra Bibi has been kept in a separate spacious room. Her medical check up is conducted twice in a day. Bushra Bibi has been provided mattress, table, chair and almirah for books. Light and fan arrangement is also available in the room.

According to report room cooler has been provided in summer season. The facility of LCD too is available in the jail.

Facility of cooking has been provided to Bushra Bibi in the form of separate kitchen in jail. The meal is first checked by medical officer.

The court directed counsel for Bushra Bibi to see the report and present his stance on next hearing.

The next hearing of the case will be issued as per roster.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case.
