Islamabad: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Southern Punjab, Dr. Tariq Saleem, has said that the Jamaat-e-Islami's upcoming Ijtma-e-Aam in Lahore this November will be a true reflection of public aspirations.

Addressing the Jamaat-e-Islami Gujarat members' convention, Dr. Tariq Saleem stated that thousands of public committees will be formed across the country before the Ijtma-e-Aam to address the people's pressing issues and find practical solutions. He expressed confidence that Jamaat-e-Islami's struggle to steer the country out of its current crises would succeed, adding that public opinion about the party was shifting positively. 'The people now see Jamaat-e-Islami as a ray of hope for resolving their problems. We will save the country from thieves and looters and, Insha'Allah, emerge as the largest political party in the upcoming elections,' he said.

Highlighting economic challenges, Dr. Tariq Saleem stressed that as long as Pakistan's economy is tied to the usury-based financial system, recovery will remain elusive, and poverty, inflation, and unemployment will persist. He further announced plans to organize public opinion and establish committees at neighborhood and union council levels, enabling swift action on local problems. 'A mafia is running the country under a contractor system. This outdated structure must be replaced, and a peaceful resistance movement will bring the required revolution,' he added, emphasizing that Pakistan's youth are the nation's greatest hope for change.

Dr. Tariq Saleem concluded by criticizing the alleged imposition of governments through Form 47, declaring that denying the rightful their due will no longer be tolerated.

On the occasion, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District Gujarat Chaudhry Ansar Mahmood Dhoul, District Secretary General Muhammad Umar Siddique, City Ameer Raja Sajid Sharif, and President of Jamaat-e-Islami Youth District Gujarat Chaudhry Khurram Shahzad Gorala also addressed the gathering.
