JI chief condemns US-Israeli terrorism against Iran as funeral prayers in absentia held for Khamenai

Karachi: Jamaat-e-islami (JI) Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has strongly condemned the naked United States- Israeli aggression against Tehran as the worst state terrorism and demanded Islamabad to openly side with Iran.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Idara Noor-e-Haq, the JI Karachi headquarters, here on Sunday and later in the day while addressing a convention in the mega city.Like other parts of the country, funeral prayers in absentia for Iran's supreme commander Ayatollah Khamenai were offered at RCD Ground of Karachi's Malir, Saudabad area. MPA Muhammad Farooq led the prayers.Later, while addressing a big convention themed; 'Death to America, Death to Israel - Life Lies in Resistance' at the same venue, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that today was a day of grief for the entire Muslim Ummah.He said that the United States and Israel jointly attacked Iran and martyred Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and members of his family. He said that the US has long attempted to undermine Iran and topple its revolution. He added that there was also a time when sectarian conflict between Shia and Sunni communities was fueled in the entire region.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Iran supported Gaza and stood firmly with Palestinian resistance. He said that efforts are being made to dismantle Iran's peaceful nuclear program.He said that the US and Israel carried out two attacks within a year against Iran and added that America was pushing the world toward widespread conflict, instability and fire.Criticizing Pakistan's leadership, he said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif nominated US President Donald Trump twice for the Nobel Prize to prolong his own rule. He said that while Trump supported attacks on Gaza, Pakistan's Prime Minister was saluting him, thereby compromising national dignity.He said more than 80,000 people have been killed in Gaza and several more in the West Bank. He further said that Israel used bombs in Gaza that caused h uman bodies to evaporate.He said Israel receives full support from the United States.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said that Pakistan was facing insecurity, bomb blasts, and suicide attacks, adding that before 2000, the country did not experience such conditions. He blamed what he called 'American slavery policies' for destabilizing the country.He described the situation in Gaza as genocide and said that Zionists dream of creating 'Greater Israel,' including Syria, Jordan, and the Hijaz region.He urged Islamabad to immediately disengage from war policies that are harming the country internally.Expressing solidarity with Iran, he saluted the Iranian nation for chanting anti-American slogans despite bombardment and said Pakistanis stand with Iran while condemning the US and Israel, as well as those who have not openly condemned them.He criticized the US over it's historical record, referring to the killing of Native Americans and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and said that America ha s never truly won a war.He said the time has come to declare Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as war criminals.He called on the American public to rise against Donald Trump, warning that otherwise the US could face decline.He urged the Pakistani nation to unite in support of Iran and pressure the government to do the same, warning that if the US and Israel succeed in regime change in Iran, Pakistan could be next.He also mentioned protests outside the US Consulate in Karachi and demanded an inquiry into reports that protesters were shot dead, asking Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to clarify who authorized such action. He concluded by warning that if weak rulers remain in power, they could cause the country to lose its sovereignty.
