Islamabad: JI has decided to resort to court against the ordinance promulgated for postponement of Local Bodies (LB) polls in Islamabad.

Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said" LB polls in federal capital be held immediately. We strongly condemn this ordinance.

Those involved in unabated cutting of the trees in Islamabad be sent to jail.

He said this while addressing a press conference here Wednesday.

He held LB polls in Islamabad have been postponed for the fourth time. Government is doing this all in collaboration with election commission.

When nomination papers have been filed then new ordinance has been brought. We strongly condemn this presidential ordinance.

Citizens of Islamabad are facing difficulties for want of local bodies. Facilities are not available to them.

He said 40 to 50 thousands trees have been cut from Islamabad. Government will have to explain who is behind trees chopping. Saying this we have planted 40000 new trees is tantamount to befool people. Responsibility be fixed against those found involved in trees chopping.

The LB ordinance for Islamabad should be annulled . Black Punjab LB polls ordinance has been introduced in Islamabad too. The rulers want to make sale and purchase of votes at street and mohalla level.

Nothing in the name of government is in place in the country at present. Bureaucracy is running these all matters.

He said Islamabad is being divided into three parts. Constitution of Pakistan tells there are Local governments and all the powers are transferred to local governments.

The attitude of the incumbent government about local bodies is fascist.

All the parties together are violating constitution.

Local bodies act of Punjab should be changed. Bureaucracy has to work under elected LB representatives but here bureaucracy works like rulers.

Punjab government makes its comparison with Sindh government which is not correct at all. What funds are provided to Punjab under NFC go where.

We are going to hold public referendum against LB Act of Punjab from tomorrow. We will besiege Punjab Assembly after 4-day referendum against LB act of Punjab.

He said JI is filing writ against LB ordinance Islamabad today. Local bodies system of Pervaiz Musharraf was thousand time better than this system.

Rulers should see this is very Trump whom they have nominated for Noble prize. The incumbent government should feel ashamed of it.

He said Trump is playing the role of ruffian in the world.
