Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistani players for their remarkable victory in the Norway Under-15 Football Cup. He said the country’s youth possess immense talent and potential, which must be directed towards positive and constructive avenues.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Hafiz Naeemur Rehman lauded the young players who clinched the U-15 title in an international tournament that featured over 2,000 teams from 30 countries. ‘The victory proves that there is no shortage of talent in Pakistan-only a lack of institutional support and patronage,’ he stated.
He congratulated the entire team on bringing pride to Pakistan through their outstanding performance and also appreciated Alkhidmat Europe for supporting and sponsoring the young footballers.
It is worth noting that most members of the team hailed from Lyari and Malir (Karachi), while other regions of Pakistan were also represented. The Pakista
ni team triumphed over Norway with a 2-0 scoreline in the final match to claim the championship.
