JI Sindh delegation meets IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon

Karachi: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, led by Sindh Ameer Kashif Saeed Sheikh, met with Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon on Monday at the CPO office. The delegation expressed serious concerns over the worsening law and order situation in Sindh, particularly in Larkana and Sukkur divisions. They emphasized the urgent need for effective measures to establish peace and ensure the protection of life and property of the citizens.Provincial Ameer Kashif Saeed Sheikh stated that due to the rising incidents of lawlessness, extortion, and dominance of criminal gangs, respectable citizens are being forced to migrate. He specifically highlighted the plight of the Hindu community, which is facing insecurity and immense hardship. A majority of the minority community has shut down their businesses and left their ancestral homes, severely impacting the local economy, trade, and agriculture.He further said that tribal conflicts have paralyzed daily life and made survival extremely difficult f or the people. The warring tribal leaders, despite appearing united in parliament and during social events, continue to incite violence among their communities to maintain their dominance - an act he termed as sheer injustice and hostility towards Sindh. He called for bringing tribal chieftains responsible for these conflicts under the strict enforcement of the law.Kashif Saeed Sheikh asserted that Jamaat-e-Islami is actively striving for the restoration of peace in Sindh, as peace is essential for progress in education, economy, and overall development of the province.IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon assured the visiting Jamaat-e-Islami delegation that every possible step would be taken in this regard. The delegation also offered condolences to IG Ghulam Nabi Memon on the recent passing of his mother and prayed for the departed soul's forgiveness.The delegation included Provincial Vice Ameer Hafiz Nasrullah Channa, General Secretary Muhammad Yousuf, Deputy General Secretary Allama Hizbullah Jhakro, and Speci al Assistant Zahid Hussain Rajpar.
