Islamabad: JUI-F has decided not to cast vote in support of 27th constitutional amendment.

As per media reports, JUI-F senator Kamran Murtaza has said we have objection over every thing. 26th constitutional amendment has been rolled back for 27th constitutional amendment.

He said government has not allowed us to read 27th constitutional amendment. We wanted to go to Joint committee despite our reservations. We wanted to place our proposals in the committee.

It is pertinent to mention here earlier Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also opposed 27th constitutional amendment in clear terms.

Talking to media men before his departure to Dubai Maulana Fazlur Rehman said JUI-F has decided not to cast vote in support of 27th constitutional amendment.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said government has backed out from the pledge by including the points in 27th constitutional amendment which were removed from 26th constitutional amendment.
