Lahore: Senior most judge of Lahore High Court (LHC) Shujaat Ali Khan has regretted to perform obligations in Rawalpindi bench.Personal Assistant (PA) of justice Shujaat Ali Khan has written letter to registrar LHC in this regard.According to text of the letter Justice Shujaat Ali Khan is ready to discharge judicial obligations on principal seat in Lahore. He cannot discharge duty in Rawalpindi bench due to his surgery.PA further said in the letter that there is surgery of Justice Shujaat Ali Khan and acting chief justice of LHC has already been informed in this regard. Doctor has prohibited Justice Shujaat Ali Khan from undertaking long journey. He is desirous of working at principal seat of LHC from next week.
