Karachi: MQM leader and federal minister Mustafa Kamal has demanded for making Karachi part of the federation and abolition of 18th constitutional amendment.

Addressing a press conference in MQM centre Bahadar Abad he said genocide is going on in Karachi and it is democratic terrorism.

When PPP is asked question about fire after their stay in power for 18 years then it replies MQM had torched Baldia factory.

He said state has handed over Karachi to whom. The entire city is questioning as to why some thing is not being done.

People of Karachi are looking towards the state that it should come forward and listen to them.

100 people died in a day. This is open democratic terrorism.

The genocide of people of Karachi is being done/.

He stated when any complaint is made with Sindh government then allegations of extortion of money, sack packed bodies and Baldia factory are leveled against MQM. While MQM has nothing to do with these crimes.

He said Prime Minister (PM) cannot do certain things despite his wish for fear of estrangement of PPP.

Did MQM set ablaze the city on the occasion of shahadat of Benazir Bhatti. Did all the cases were abolished by MQM in the government in 2008 You are in the province since 18 years then as to why you don’t hang us.

He held if all the things have been done by MQM then hang us. Did any one stop them in 18 years what irregular buildings were constructed by us.

You talk of baldia factory and sack packed bodies while during that time president of your party came to MQM headquarters.

unbridled leniency has been given to the PPP to run the incumbent government. Due to it the entire system has been disrupted. If Karachi has to give sacrifices to save the system then state should tell in clear terms how many more lives are required.

Karachi be made financial capital of the country as per constitution given by Bhutto and it should be taken under federation because these people cannot be corrected under the prevailing system.

He alleged harm is being caused to people of Karachi under 18 th constitutional amendment and this amendment has beocome ulcer for the country. 18th amendment is not a sacred clause. It will have to be withdrawn to save the country.

Calling for federation interference under article 148 and 149 of the constitution he said if MQM remains in minority in the province then will the basic facilities, water, health be not provided to the citizens. Karachi be made part of federal territory.

He alleged that when funds are acquired by MQM from PM then chif minister Sindh get stop them.

This is democratic terrorism which should be suspended in Sindh forthwith.

It is hoped government of Pakistan and state of Pakistan will listen to us and justice will be provided to people of Karachi.
