Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has criticized double standards of PPP on the matter of creation of new provinces and administrative units.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on his X post PPP apparently supports separate Seraiki province in Punjab. But when the matter comes of massive re-organization of administrative structure of the country then it raises the matter of Sindhu Desh.

Raising question on the reason for contradictory stance of PPP he said " I think some thing else is behind it. I will explain my apprehensions at proper time.

He stressed national interest should be supreme. We are Pakistanis from top to toe.

It is must to devolve more powers to grass root level so that direct benefit is afforded to people from government institutions and services.

He took the plea shifting powers to grass root level is eventually inevitable.
