Islamabad: Defence minister Khawaja Asif has met former Prime Minister (PM) and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif .

According to media reports Khawaja Asif while posting picture on social media after meeting wrote matters of mutual interest and overall political situation of the country came under discussion during the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here the media reports were received a day before that Khawaja Asif had resigned from his office. However he refuted this media report later.

These speculations surfaced when Khawaja Asif claimed in a statement that more than half bureaucracy of Pakistan has purchased properties in Portugal.

He said that these bureaucrats are making preparations to seek citizenship of Portugal. These are crocodiles who devour billion of rupees and spend life after retirement with ease and comfort.
