Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has sent to Director FIA for redressal an application against killing of a citizen from Arif Wala in alleged fake police encounter.Chief Justice LHC Aalia Neelum issued written order to wrap up petition filed by Kausar Parveen.Directives were issued to director FIA to decide the application as per law.The petitioner took the plea Arif Wala police lifted her five sons. Three sons were sent to jail on judicial remand. Two sons Umar Daraz and minor Dildar were handed over to Vehari police.Upon it the petitioner resorted to court against the arrests.The petitioner further told the court SHO Hassan assured the court no one will be killed in fake police encounter. But Umar Daraz was killed in fake police encounter despite assurance to court.The citizen prayed the court to issue order for registering case of this killing against responsible police officer under Torture and Custodial Death Act-2022. FIA be also ordered to probe into the matter.
