Kite flying banned in areas around Lahore airport

Lahore: Kite flying has been banned in the areas around Lahore Airport. Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has issued directives to secure flight operation. According to orders kite flying will not be allowed in 15 areas including Taj Bagh, Bhatta Chowk, Nadir Abad, Juray pull, and canal bank road. Kite flying will be fully banned in different blocks of DHA. PAA has said kite flying can pose risks to flight operation. Therefore, ban has been banned under security measures.
