Peshawar: Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi has announced to further increase the financial assistance for the families of forces martyred in cowardly Indian attack in May 2025. Family members of forces martyred in May 2025 cowardly Indian attack met the CM KP. CM KP said KP government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of martyrs to extend every possible cooperation to them.

The CM KP Sohail Afridi announced to further increase the financial assistance by Rs 50 lac which was approved Rs 50 lac earlier by the cabinet enhancing it to Rs one crore. The financial assistance for injured has been increased from Rs 10 lac to Rs 25 lac. Sohail Afridi said the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the people of KP are guarantors of security of Pakistan. Those who are martyred for the sake of truth never die. The martyrs are our pride and KP government will take great care of their families., he added.
