Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued 4-page written decision in regard to the petitions filed by PTI leaders for obtaining protective bail.

The court has strictly directed to petitioners not to use court's decision for the sake of protest or anti state activities at any cost. The court relief should be used within the parameters of law other wise severe legal consequences will have to be faced.

Federal Prosecutor General (FPG) requested the court to constitute larger bench in connection with cases of protective bail.

According to written decision FPG took the plea the petitioners are resorting to court repeatedly for the relief of similar nature which is tantamount to misuse the judicial process.

This objection also came in the decision that PTI leader Asad Qaisar does not appear in the court even after obtaining protective bail.

The court further pointed out the petitioners don't join the investigation despite being on bail for longer period. It runs contrary to legal norms.

It was said in the decision FPG raised objection no uniform policy is there in the courts with reference to protective or transit bail. This falls in the violation of Supreme Court (SC) decision.

PHC ordered to send the matter to Chief Justice (CJ) PHC for constitution of larger bench.

The court directed FPG to provide complete details of cases to the petitioner registered against him within seven days.

Proceedings will be initiated against the petitioner as per law in the event of misuse of court's orders.

The court said court's relief should be used within legal parameters, otherwise severe legal consequences will have to be faced.
