Peshawar: Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi has declared the election of Chief Minister (CM) KP on October 13 unconstitutional saying the election of CM KP will be considered unconstitutional unless the resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur is accepted.

As per media reports Opposition leader in KP assembly has announced to challenge the election of Sohail Afridi in the court tomorrow.

As per media reports, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi questioned who will notify new chief minister of KP I am not satisfied over the resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur. Satisfaction is my constitutional right. Ali Amin should come to me on Wednesday. I will serve him tea and his resignation will be accepted.

Earlier KP governor while raising objection over the resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur said two copies of your resignation were received in my office. The signatures made on the copies of your resignations are not identical.

On the other hand opposition leader in KP assembly Dr Ibadullah said opposition will move court tomorrow against the election of CM KP. We were thinking till yesterday that the resignation has been accepted therefore the candidates filed the nomination papers.

Dr Ibadullah said the election of CM is unconstitutional. His counsel is saying it is correct. We are saying it is wrong. We were thinking the resignation has been accepted. Therefore we brought candidate.

It is pertinent to mention here Muhammad Sohail Afridi has been elected as new CK KP while opposition staged walk out from the assembly.
