Lahore: As per an official handout from DIG Operations Lahore, Lahore Police continues indiscriminate operations against criminal elements to maintain peace. According to details, South Cantt Police arrested a known drug dealer, Asjad, during patrolling based on secret information. More than 2.5 kg of hashish and 50 grams of ice were recovered from the suspect. He confessed to ordering drugs online from Peshawar and selling them to the youth in different areas of Lahore. Similarly, Shahdara Town Police arrested two suspects, including a woman, and recovered weapons and drugs. 520 grams of hashish were seized from suspect KishwarBibi, while a .223 bore rifle, a pistol, and dozens of bullets were recovered from suspect Asim. Naseerabad Police arrested a suspect for stealing an unlocked parked motorcycle. The suspect was identified as Nabeel.A security officer on duty at an event found him suspicious and stopped him. As the suspect attempted to flee, leaving the motorcycle behind, the officer pursued and arre sted him. He was attempting to steal a citizen's unlocked motorcycle parked at the event. Model Town Police arrested 39 members of 18 gangs this month.The suspects were found in possession of 22 stolen motorcycles, 29 mobile phones, 1.39 million rupees in cash, 23 pistols, and dozens of bullets. The gangs were apprehended through secret intelligence and targeted operations in various areas. Shafiqabad and Misri Shah Police reunited lost and abandoned children with their parents. The suspects had issued bogus checks to deceive citizens in financial transactions. They were wanted by police in Faisalabad, Kasur, Narowal, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Lahore. The suspects were arrested throu gh intelligence-based operations and the E-Police Post App. Similarly, the Dolphin Squad arrested a total of 23 suspects involved in kite flying, one-wheeling, and aerial firing in different areas of the city. 18 one-wheelers were arrested from Defence, Mall Road, Jail Road, Bund Road, Ferozepur Road, and other areas, while 05 suspects involved in kite flying and aerial firing were apprehended. Kites, pistols, bullets, and magazines were recovered from their possession.
