Lahore: As per an official handout from DIG Operations Lahore, Lahore Police has conducted another major operation, seizing narcotics worth millions. Nawab Town Police Checkpost, acting on intelligence-based information, intercepted 165 kg of hashish and 34 kg of opium, while the suspects managed to escape, abandoning their vehicle. The police have gathered all evidence from the scene and have launched raids to arrest the culprits. DIG Operations Faisal Kamran commended the checkpost in-charge and the team for the successful operation, stating that the Anti-Drug Intelligence Network is yielding strong results. He further added that special anti-drug teams have been deployed at the city's entry points to curb the supply of narcotics. Faisal Kamran emphasized that the police are continuously working to dismantle drug networks, ensuring that suppliers and major dealers are brought to justice. He also stressed that making Lahore drug-free is not possible without public cooperation.
