Karachi: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, accompanied by Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Ms. Justice Musarrat Hilali, Justice Irfan Saadat Khan, Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, visited the Bar Room of the Supreme Court Bar Association at the Supreme Court Branch Registry, Karachi, on the invitation of the Supreme Court Bar Association, to attend a farewell reception held in honour of Ms. Justice Musarrat Hilali on her retirement.

The office-bearers and members of the Supreme Court Bar Association warmly welcomed the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the accompanying Judges of the Supreme Court, and the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, and paid tribute to Ms. Justice Musarrat Hilali for her distinguished judicial service, professional integrity, and invaluable contribution to the administration of justice.

The occasion brought together members of the Bench and the Bar to acknowledge the services of the retiring Judge and to convey their best wishes for her health, happiness, and a fulfilling post-retirement life.

As a gesture of goodwill and in recognition of the rich cultural heritage of Sindh, the Supreme Court Bar Association presented Ajraks to Ms. Justice Musarrat Hilali, the Chief Justice of Pakistan, and the accompanying Judges of the Supreme Court.

The event concluded in a cordial atmosphere, reaffirming the longstanding relationship between the Bench and the Bar and their shared commitment to the rule of law, professional excellence, and the effective administration of justice.
