LESCO files security plan in LHC on uninterrupted supply of electricity , safety of people during Basant


Lahore: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has filed a 27-point security plan in Lahore High Court (LHC) for ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity and safety of public on the eve of Basant in Lahore.



As per report filed in the court a central control and command centre will be set up in LESCO headquarters for immediate redressing the complaints regarding electricity.



As per media reports a control room will be established in Commissioner office for coordination with the government.



The report said SDOs will remain present for 24 hours in three shifts in control rooms.



A special control room will be set up in Data Darbar division to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity in Lahore walled city.



LESCO management has issued directives to all operational and field staff to remain high alert during Basant days.



XEN will remain present round the clock in all grid stations of 132 KV in view of public safety.



According to report 111 help line will remain functional to redress electricity related complaints in all sub divisions in Lahore.



Telephone numbers of 136 XENs and SDOs have been shared with respective assistant commissioners for immediate contact.
