Lahore: JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said levy be abolished forthwith and petrol price be locked for three years otherwise JI will give protest call to the people. He said this while addressing a press conference here in Lahore.

He said government announces budget on every Friday but it is not ready to reduce its lavish spending . The salaried class is paying tax more than any one else. The tax ratio for salaried class be reduced. The employee who is receiving one lac rupees per month salary be declared tax free.

He held enhancement in price of petroleum products is tyrannical for all segments of society. The government enhances prices to hide it incompetence and corruption. Imposing petroleum levy is not less than tyranny. Levy of Rs 195 is being received from the people still too.

JI Amir said there is no comparison between Karachi and Lahore. Comparison is made according to resources.

He observed if PPP has committed corruption than PML-N too is not behind in this respect.

The local governments be strengthened instead of bringing 28th amendment.

He remarked 28th amendment has not come to open so far but ruling alliance is all set to make every amendment.

” Zardari Sahb has said we will strengthen hands of establishment. he added.

He held government has ruined educational institutions. Health facilities have been snatched from people.

Instead of pitting people against each other, government should set up local governments and should come to making empowered citizen government.

Benazir Income Support Program was launched to eliminate poverty but government itself has said in its report that poverty has surged by 30 percent and 45 percent in Punjab.

The local influential take commission through this program. This is source of corruption.

He said Israel is martyring innocent children and citizens still but despite it our Prime Minister has declared Trump flag bearer of peace. Israel attacks Gaza with the help of Trump. We should pull out from Peace Board. The Jews are running the entire world with the help of US.

He said 46 days have passed and Pakistani citizens are held hostage in Somalia but no one is making any effort for their recovery

It is requested to government of Pakistan to make efforts for their release, he added.
