LHC fixes for hearing bail pleas of Imran Khan in May 9 related siege and arson cases

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed PTI founder Imran Khan bail pleas for hearing in siege and arson cases related to May 9. A two members bench of LHC comprising Justice Syed Shahbaz Rizvi and Justice Tariq Saleem will hear the cases on April 10.

The court has summoned special prosecutors for arguments.

PTI founder has filed bail pleas in 8 cases related to May 9 incident. The bail pleas have been filed by Imran Khan through his counsel barrister Suleman Safdar.

The bail pleas have been submitted in connection with 8 cases including Jinnah house, Askari Tower and police station Shadman siege and arson.

LHC has also fixed for hearing petitions filed against the closure of X.

A 3-member bench of LHC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) Aalia Neelum will hear the petitions on April 8.

The other members of bench are justice Farooq Haider and Justice Ali Zia Bajwa.

The court has already sought detailed reply from Imran Khan.
