LHC issues interim order to hand over two children to their mother settled in Spain till next hearing

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered interim order to hand over children to their mother settled in Spain till next hearing.

Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh of LHC took up the case for hearing Thursday.

The court had ordered police to recover and present the children before it.

Mandi Baha ud Din police presented Eishal 5 and Shahwaiz one and half years old in the court.

The counsel for petitioner took the plea her client is settled with her husband Muzaffar Hussain in Spain. However his husband sent the children to Pakistan over domestic dispute.

The petition said court should order police to recover children and present them in the court.

Assistant Attorney General Nasim Saqlain told the court national identity cards of both the children have been blocked and their names have been placed in PNIL list so that they could not be taken to other country illegally.

The court while issuing interim order to hand over the custody of children to their mother adjourned the hearing of the case till August 4.
