Lahore: A miscellaneous petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) against ongoing unannounced load shedding in the country.

The miscellaneous petition has been filed by Judicial Activism Panel in LHC.

The petition said citizens are facing load shedding despite costly electricity. The electricity is not being supplied to the citizens indiscriminately. The business of the citizens are becoming affected due to load shedding.

The petitioner requested the court to order for supplying electricity to the citizens without any discrimination besides issuing order to end load shedding.
