Lahore: The hearing of the case regarding kidnapping of son of renowned religious scholar Dr Nighat Hashmi came up for hearing in Lahore High Court (LHC).

The court ordered the police to recover the kidnapped person and present him before it on next hearing.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 05.

Justice Asjid Javed Ghurral took up for hearing the petition filed by Hijjab Yazdani, wife of kidnapped person Monday.

Barrister Mian Ali Ishfaq advocate appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner.

DSP Burki too appeared in the court.

The counsel for the petitioner said Muhammad bin Khalid was kidnapped on November 24 and 25.

The court inquired from the DSP you could not find the kidnapped person so far.

DSP Burki replied our teams are working and time be given to us.
