Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has recommended to constitute larger bench on petition seeking citizenship for Afghan husband of Pakistani lady. The petition seeking citizenship for Afghan boy in the case of marriage of Pakistani woman with foreigner came up for hearing in LHC Friday. Justice Farooq Haider took up for hearing petition filed by Musarrat Jabeen . The court recommended to constitute larger bench on petition. Citizenship act 1951 too has been challenged in the petition. Petitioner Pakistani woman had married to Afghan boy Nasim in 2012.
