Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected Punjab government plea for withdrawing stay order in the case against transfer and appointments in King Edward Medical University (KEMU).The case came up for hearing before LHC Thursday.The court while rejecting the plea for withdrawing stay order maintained the petition has been filed unnecessarily. The court will decide the case as per law.The court has already issued order regarding ban on transfer and appointments in the university till further orders.Punjab government had resorted to LHC in connection with withdrawal of its stay order.The court sought reply from government of Punjab, health secretary and vice chancellor KEMU and adjourned the hearing till September 17.
