Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought reply from federal government, OGRA and other authorities on the petition filed against hike in prices of petroleum products.A two members bench of LHC presided over by justice Abid Aziz Sheikh took up for hearing the petition filed against hike in the prices of petroleum products.The court sought reply from federal government, OGRA and other authorities .It is pertinent to mention here Judicial Activism Panel has challenged hike in the prices of petroleum products.It may be recalled that government had issued notification regarding increase in prices of petroleum products all over the country on November 01.According to notification the price of petrol was increased by Rs 2.43 per liter and new price has been fixed as Rs 265.45 per liter. The price of diesel was enhanced by Rs 3.02 per liter and now high speed diesel price has been fixed Rs 278.44 per liter.
