LHC wraps up petition against commercial activities in residential areas being in-fructuous

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has wrapped up the petition filed against the issuance of notice in the matter of commercial activities in residential areas terming it in-fructuous.

Justice Shujaat ALi Khan of LHC took up for hearing the petition filed against notice given in connection with the commercial activities in residential areas.

DG LDA Tahir Farooq appeared in the court.

During the hearing of the case the court expressed annoyance over absence of Deputy Director Commercialization.

DG LDA Tahir Farooq told the court Deputy director Umair has been suspended due to non appearance in the court.

DG assured the court it will not happen so in future.

During the hearing of the case justice Shujaat Ali Khan remarked court does not want to summon you. We respect you.

DG LDA Tahir Farooq thanked the court.

Additional Advocate General Punjab Rana Shamshad informed the court the property of the petitioner has been de-sealed.

Upon it LHC wrapped up the petition filed against the commercial activities in the residential areas being in-fructuous.
