Islamabad: On the directive of Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, JI Vice-Emir Liaqat Baloch contacted senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Global Sumud Flotilla.Liaqat Baloch expressed concern over reports of Israeli actions and arrests against international activists on board. He urged the government to ensure the safety of Pakistani participants, including Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, AJK lawmaker Syed Mazhar Shah, and Syed Aziz Nizami.Foreign Office officials said the government is actively pursuing the matter through international channels under the supervision of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. They assured that efforts are underway to secure the safe return of all Pakistani citizens.Liaqat Baloch paid tribute to the flotilla activists, calling their mission a courageous humanitarian effort to support Gaza's besieged people.
