Man approaches police for security after receiving life threats

Mardan: An employee of Mardan Deputy Commissioner Office has approached the local police for security after receiving a threatening call from an unidentified person.

Abdur Rahim, an employee at DC office, told the City police that he received a threatening call from mobile number 0333-9879339 while he was in office.

The caller not only used foul language with him, but also gave him life threats.

Rahim has appealed Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan-range Yaseen Farooq and District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Zahid to take notice of the matter and traced out the alleged threat.

The City police have registered a case against an unknown person and started investigations.
