Islamabad: Abdul Khaliq Ghanai Shaheed nom de guerre, Jamal Afghani was the 1st Chief Commander of former Jihad Force, that was renamed as Al-Fatah Force Jammu and Kashmir in 1994, was martyred by the Indian Occupation Forces on 15 December 1993.
While paying glowing tributes to the life and struggle and devotion of the martyred son of the soil, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ and K Chapter said that he was actively associated with the freedom movement of Jammu and Kashmir from his student life and spent much his time in 70s and 1980s in organising the movement at the grassroots level.
In the early 1990s a ruthless and brutal campaign of the Indian Occupation forces from house to house and organised encounters between the Mujahideen and the army and black sheep resulted in loss of hundreds of freedom fighters commanded by Shaheed Abdul Ghanaei which included many civilians in the Occupied region.
He said despite martyring more than one lakh freedom fighters and civilians, enforcement of thousands of disappearance and committing heinous crimes against humanity, and merging the besieged State with its Union territory, India has not gained its nefarious design of destroying determination of the people nor the world has accepted its concocted and false narrative of burying the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir.
He reiterated that the BJPs false propaganda and door to door searches or implementing of draconian laws or weaving a dreadful network of spying across Jammu and Kashmir will never break resolve of the Kashmiri nation whose villages and cities are covered with the hundreds of graveyards of martyred sons of valour and patriotism.
He assured that Kashmir would be recognised as resolved when every kashmiri far and near or inside and outside would declare without fear that now Jammu and Kashmir is resolved and Kashmir is free land for the inhabitants of Kashmir. He called upon the people to paying tributes to martyrs of the freedom without tags and remembering them who are not dead as guaranteed by the last book of Allah Al Quran on Earth
