LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that she is grateful to PML-N Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and President PML-N Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for the confidence they have shown in her.

In a statement issued on twitter on Wednesday Maryam Nawaz said “I look forward to working with my party colleagues to organize and strengthen PML-N according to the vision of Mian Nawaz Sharif and under the able guidance of Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Insha’Allah”.

Maryam Nawaz said that “I am truly honoured and humbled by the confidence you have reposed in me. I firmly believe that only PML-N has the capacity to deliver and make Pakistan progress to its fullest potential. I pray to The Almighty to guide and help me to live up to your expectations, Insha’Allah”.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she will visit and meet party office-bearers and workers across Pakistan to effectively fulfill this daunting task. “We will adopt modern techniques and make improvements where needed to ensure PMLN remains best equipped to continue successfully serving the people of Pakistan. Insha’Allah!” Maryam Nawaz tweeted.
