Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the recent wave of Indian drone strikes in Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, and other cities across Punjab, terming the attacks a blatant act of aggression by India.

?In a statement issued on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Army for successfully intercepting and neutralizing Indian drones at 12 different locations, commending their timely and decisive response. 'The entire nation salutes our brave officers and soldiers for defending our homeland with courage and vigilance,' she said.

?CM Maryam Nawaz also acknowledged the swift coordination and response of the local administration, police, rescue services, and the Pakistan Air Force. She instructed all relevant departments and security agencies across the province to remain on high alert to ensure the safety of citizens.

?Expressing heartfelt prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured in the drone attacks, the Chief Minister directed health officials and district administrations to provide the best possible medical care to all wounded civilians and officers. She further instructed administrative officers to personally monitor the treatment of the injured in affected areas.

?"By killing innocent civilians, including children, India has committed naked aggression and a grave violation of international laws," said Maryam Nawaz. "India will have to pay the price for targeting innocent lives."

?She also took a swipe at the Indian military, stating that their pilots have become a global symbol of incompetence and failure. 'India's arrogance lies in ruins, just like its downed Rafale jets,' she remarked.

?The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the blood of Pakistan's martyrs will not go in vain. 'Every drop of blood will be accounted for,' she asserted. She also condemned India's targeting of Pakistan's water reservoirs, calling it a clear breach of international law and urging the global community to take immediate notice.
