Jammu: Indian forces have continued a massive cordon and search operation for the fifth consecutive day in the upper reaches of the Rajouri-Poonch sector in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The operation was launched late Tuesday evening following an attack on a camp in the Kandi area of Rajouri that left five personnel of the Special Operations Group (SOG) injured.

Although no fresh exchange of fire has been reported, troops from the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and police continue to comb dense forest areas in Kandi and adjoining localities.
