Rawalpindi: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on the night of 10/11 October 2025, Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy outfit Fitna al Khwarij launched a cowardly terrorist attack on the Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan District.The assailants attempted to breach the perimeter security; however, their nefarious designs were thwarted by the vigilant and resolute response of Law Enforcement Agencies personnel deployed on duty. In desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate of the facility.Displaying exceptional courage and professionalism, the Police personnel immediately engaged the intruders, eliminating three Khwarij militants on the spot. The remaining two attackers were cornered in a building complex and later neutralised during a deliberate clearance operation conducted by Security Forces with precision.In the intense exchange of fire, six brave Policemen, including trainees, embraced Shahadat after putting up a heroic resistance . Twelve Policemen and one civilian sustained injuries. During the attack, the terrorists also targeted the mosque within the school complex, desecrating the sacred place of worship and barbarically killing the Imam Masjid - an innocent civilian who was performing his religious duties.ISPR stated that sanitization operations in the area are continuing to eliminate any remaining threats. The perpetrators of this heinous and cowardly act will be brought to justice.The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, in unison with the nation, remain steadfast in their resolve to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. The supreme sacrifices of our brave soldiers and innocent civilians further strengthen our unwavering commitment to safeguard the motherland at all costs.
