Islamabad: Minister for parliamentary affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said the matter of formation of new provinces will be put to debate in National Assembly (NA) and Senate in October.

" the sessions of NA and Senate are not taking place in the month of September. However sessions of both the houses of parliament are being held in October. The matter of formation of new provinces will be put to debate in these sessions. he said this while talking to media men here.

This debate is being held in every street and media houses. Intellectuals and representatives of business community are discussing this subject.

The real place for holding debate on the formation of new provinces is only parliament house.

About Islamabad he said Islamabad is not going to become province but Islamabad is going to adopt a new governance model.

He said nothing is there like making Islamabad a separate province.
