Rawalpindi: During hearing of May 9 incident and GHQ attack case, indictment proceedings in respect of PTI founder, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others has once again been adjourned.Defence counsel took the plea GHQ attack case cannot be made terrorism case.Hearing of the case was adjourned till today (Tuesday).Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC Rawalpindi has once again adjourned indictment proceedings against 120 accused including PTI founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in GHQ attack case.The court has adjourned the hearing till today on the petition filed by the counsels for the accused persons.The counsels for the respondents will give arguments on petition today.Shah Mehmood Qureshi was presented in the court room at Adiala jail by bringing him from Lahore.The counsels of the respondents were also present on the occasion.The counsels for the accused challenged in the court clauses of anti terrorism act leveled in the case and jurisdiction power of court.The counsels took the plea in the petition filed under clause 23 of anti terrorism act section, 7 ATA of Anti Terrorism Act has been leveled in this case which carries no justification. Due to it the court does not have power of jurisdiction.The court while accepting the petition for hearing adjourned the hearing till today (Tuesday).
