Rawalpindi: The court has awarded death sentence for three time to a convict Irfan Azeem in the case of kidnapping, rape and murder of a minor child. The court has ordered the culprit be kept hanging till his death.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Afshan Ejaz Sufi wrote in decision that death penalty was awarded to culprit on the charges of murder while death sentence and fine amounting to Rs 5 lac were awarded on the charges of sexual assault.

Likewise death sentence and Fine Rs 5 lac were awarded in the offence of kidnapping. Fine amounting to Rs 10 lac has been imposed on the convict collectively.

The culprit kidnapped a 13 years old boy from the area of Dhamial police in March 2023 and he subjected him to sexual assault. Later he stabbed him to death.

On the basis of solid evidence the court while awarding the severest sentence ordered that he should be kept hanging till his death.
