islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi held a meeting with the delegation of senior members of the Tablighi Jamaat. The delegation included Anwar Ghani, Iqbal Mian, Muhammad Amir, and Zahid Pracha. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Inspector General of Islamabad Police were also present on the occasion. The delegation briefed the minister on the preparations for the upcoming annual Tablighi Ijtima in November. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured the delegation of the Interior Ministry's full cooperation in organizing the event. He said that complete facilitation would be provided to foreign delegations regarding issuance of visas, and, like last year, special counters would be established at airports. Interior Minister added that it is our duty and a noble act to provide facilities and convenience for the preaching of Islam. The delegation informed that last year, around 15,000 international participants from 108 countries attended the annual congregation.

The meeting concluded with a special prayer for the flood victims and country's prosperity and security.
