Mohsin Naqvi conducts surprise visit to 24/7 NADRA Centre, Karachi

Karachi: ½Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid an unannounced visit to the 24/7 Open NADRA Center, Defence, Karachi. He met citizens who had come to obtain CNICs and other documents and inquired about the timing of their turn and the overall process. Some citizens complained about delays in getting their turn. The Minister assured that this issue would be addressed and gave immediate instructions for resolving citizens' complaints on the spot. He stated that the system is being further improved and that delays will be resolved permanently.

In one case, a citizen's living wife's death certificate had been issued incorrectly. Upon receiving the complaint, the Minister took immediate notice and ordered the documents to be corrected on the spot.

In another case, a woman's CNIC had a mistake in her name. Interior Minister instructed the NADRA in-charge to correct the name without any additional fee.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited various counters and met with the staff. He directed that citizens' work be completed within the stipulated time and emphasized that, instead of making citizens run multiple times, their work should be completed in a single visit with full guidance.
