Lahore: Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has met JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman in Mansoora and the two exchanged views on overall political and security situation of the country, regional issues and the problems facing the people.

During the meeting Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow over demise of JI Secretary General Amir Ul Azeem and offered fateha.

JI acting secretary general Nazir Ahmad Janjua and information secretary Shakil Ahmad Turabi were also present in the meeting. The two leaders made consultation over the challenges facing the country , and different matters related to public interest and national unity.

Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi said tension in the region has subsided again owing to persistent diplomatic and professional efforts of Field Marshall which is a positive movement forward for peace and stability .

At the conclusion of meeting Mohsin Naqvi condoled with Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman over death of JI Secretary General Amir ul Azeem. He prayed for the departed soul and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.
