Mohsin Naqvi reaches Tehran again

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has once again reached Iran on official visit.

The visit comes amid Pakistan's continued diplomatic efforts to help ease tensions between United States and Iran and revive stalled negotiations over regional security and conflict de-escalation.

According to reports, Mohsin Naqvi is expected to discuss recent developments in the indirect talks between Washington and Tehran, as Islamabad intensifies its mediation role to prevent further escalation in the Middle East.

According to media reports he will hold meetings with Iranian leadership in regard to US-Iran talks.

It is pertinent to mention here Mohsin Naqvi had visited Iran earlier. Meeting between Mohsin Naqvi and Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian lasted 90 minutes.

Mohsin Naqvi had met Iranian foreign minister , Abbas Araghchi and speaker of Irani parliament Bagher Ghalibaf.
