Mohsin Naqvi, Talal Chaudhry visit residence of martyred Lt Col Junaid

Islamabad: ½Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry visited the residence of martyred Lieutenant Colonel Junaid in Rawalpindi. They met the martyr's mother, family, and children, expressed heartfelt condolences, and prayed for the elevation of the martyr's ranks.

Mohsin Naqvi paid rich tribute to the courage of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid's mother and family, stating that the courage of a mothers like you inspires and strengthens us even more. He emphasized that every drop of martyrs blood is a guarantee of the nation's security. He stated that our martyrs have sacrificed their lives and thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorists.

Tallal Chaudhry said, 'Martyrs are the pride and honor of the nation. The people of Pakistan will never forget the sacrifices of their heroes.'

During the meeting, the martyr's mother said, 'My son attained the great blessing of martyrdom and raised the country's flag high.' She further expressed her firm resolve that both her grandsons would also join the Pakistan Army to serve and defend the nation.

Mohsin Naqvi and Tallal Chaudhry prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved family.

½It is worth mentioning that Lieutenant Colonel Junaid was martyred a few days ago in Orakzai while bravely fighting against India-sponsored terrorists.

Meanwhile Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the firing attack on an anti-polio team in Nowshera. He paid tribute to the martyred police constable Maqsood, who lost his life in the attack.

He expressed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family of the martyred constable. He said that Constable Maqsood attained the great honor of martyrdom while performing his duty. He added that the attack on a team working for the safe future of children is absolutely intolerable.
