½charsadda: ½Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a detailed visit to the Federal Constabulary Training Center in Shabqadar. During the visit, he reviewed the force's operational preparedness and professional training standards.
½The Interior Minister inspected the training activities of the Special Protection Wing and the Anti-Riot Wing, which are being prepared to provide security for state guests visiting Pakistan under the Ministry of Interior. He appreciated the high standard of modern training being imparted to the personnel.
½½Mohsin Naqvi stated that the Special Protection Wing is being developed into a modern and well-organized force on the lines of those in developed countries. He said that providing international-standard security to foreign guests would be the responsibility of the Special Protection Wing. Special emphasis is being placed on the wing's training, and arrangements have been made for personnel to receive instruction from foreign trainers as well as to undergo training abroad.
½The Interior Minister directed all personnel to pay special attention to physical fitness, training in modern weaponry, and driving skills. He added that, alongside improving their educational qualifications, personnel are also being taught international languages.
½½Mohsin Naqvi also directed the procurement of modern anti-riot equipment for the force. He said that the Federal Constabulary plays a vital role in maintaining peace across the country and in the fight against terrorism. He added that the force is being transformed into an effective and capable organization to meet future security challenges.
½The Interior Minister visited the barracks and interacted with trainees, inquiring about the quality of food, available facilities, and any issues they were facing. He issued immediate orders to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply to the barracks and directed that all necessary facilities be provided. He also announced that construction of a gymnasium and swimming pool at the center would be initiated.
½½Inspector General Federal Constabulary Nazir Ahmad Garra briefed the Interior Minister on the training program, stating that trainees represent all provinces of Pakistan, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. For the first time, 35 female personnel are also participating in the training program.
½DIG Federal Constabulary, DO FC, the Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, DPO Charsadda, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
