Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said more burden of tax will not be put on such retailers who are already in tax net.

" we are taking steps on priority basis to bring them into tax net who don't pay tax. We are taking steps on fast track basis to curb smuggling being done in guise of used goods, he said this while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Retail Business Council in Islamabad on Friday.

He urged local industries to adopt innovation and modern technology in order to enhance their exports and compete in the international market.

The delegation commended the government for bringing economic stability.

Delegation said government reforms are good omen and these will leave far reaching effects on economy.

Revenue will go up due to integrating retailers into tax net.
