Opposition leaders meet CJP

Islamabad: Opposition leaders have met Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi amid battalions of complaints.

The complaints include non allowing meeting with Imran Khan, defying law and jail manual and keeping PTI founder in solitary confinement.

Addressing a press conference PTI leaders Umar Ayoub, Barrister Gohar and Suleman Akram Raja said they told CJP dates of hearing of the cases in respect of PTI founder and his wife are not told. CJP was informed about detained leaders.

Umar Ayoub said we told CJP our several leaders have been dragged in false cases. We put up our stance unemployment and inflation are on rise. Matter of cases against PTI workers and production order was also placed before CJP.

We told CJP talks between PTI founder and his children are not arranged.

Suleman Akram Raja said law and constitution are not being implemented in the country. Judiciary will have to interfere immediately.
