LAHORE: Ms. Ramzan Bibi has taken over the charge of Principal Nursing College of Lahore General Hospital on Monday.
The faculty members of Nursing College gave her a warm welcome and received her in the Nursing College of Lahore General Hospital and expressed good wishes for her success. Prof. Al-freed Zafar, Principal, Post Graduate Medical Institute, while talking in this regard, directed that all energies should be utilized for the education and training of Nursing students. He added that there is no doubt that today’s modern world is attached with innovation and scientific updates through which it has become a global village. He asked to acquaint with the modern requirements of nursing education and train young girls as per the demand of this field.
Prof. Al-freed Zafar expressed hope that under the guidance of Ramzan Bibi this Nursing College of Lahore General Hospital will leave no stone unturned to train more good nurses for provided best medical facilities to the patients standing along with doctor community.
After assuming her responsibilities, Principal Nursing College, Lahore General Hospital, Ramzan Bibi, while talking to the nursing instructors and students, said that the medical professionals should perform their duties without any greed or return because apart from salary and other benefits the real reward for this service comes from Allah Almighty because we dedicate all our energies to the service of suffering humanity.
Ramzan Bibi further said that instructors play a vital role in the teaching of nursing and therefore their primary responsibility is to provide education to the new medical students as well as discipline of the Institution and patients. She expressed her determination to provide appropriate guidance for the care of the patients and focus all attention on education and related issues during the nursing classes.
On this occasion Shahnaz Dar, Kausar Parveen, Azra Parveen, Sobia Latif, Abida and other Nursing Instructors assured Ramzan Bibi of their full support and expressed their happiness over her appointment and hoped that In Sha Allah in the days to come this nursing college will bring further improvement which will help in strengthening the field of nursing as well.
